Tallan Noble Latz, now 10 years old, is a guitar player/singer/songwriter that seems to be destined for the big stage. He has been playing music since the age of 3, and leading his own band, The Tallan Noble Latz Band, since age 7.
Everyone is talking about this young guitar slinger who possesses an old musical soul.
“I have never witnessed anything like I was about to see in the course of my music evolution. Never. An averaged sized nine-year-old boy…on a Fender Telecaster, this child opened up like a raging bluesman in his finest. He played his guitar behind his head and cranked out riffs that would have embarrassed Jimi Hendrix himself.’T-Man’… exuded pure showmanship and blaring riffs that left most speechless. I was exhausted.” GM Planell, ChicagosRock.com.
The first big name to invite Tallan to jam with him on stage was Walter Trout. At age 7, he was on cloud nine. Since then Tallan has played with musicians such as Chris Duarte, Joe Bonamassa, Buddy Guy, Jonny Lang, Albert Cummings, Hubert Sumlin, Jackson Browne, and the late, great Mr. Les Paul.
Tallan has played many festivals around the country from Jimi Hendrix's 67th Birthday Bash in Times Square to yearly gigs at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI. TV appearances include CBS' Rachael Ray Show, WGN’s Morning Show, Fox’s Morning Show, CBS Early Show, FOX News: Studio B with Shepard Smith, The Bonnie Hunt Show, CNN, NBC's Today Show, NBC's Today Show, Chicago's WLS TV Morning Show, and NBC's America's Got Talent.
Tallan has been working very hard building his resume’ and it looks like there will be no stopping him. He recently won the WAMI (WI Grammies) Award for the 2010 Rising Star of the Year, so don’t miss the phenomenon they call T-Man - a very determined young musician that loves what he does and wants to share it with everyone.
"Are you kidding me!", Jackson Browne
"Tallan's future is going to be whatever he wants it to be! He's way ahead of the curve." Jonny Lang
"You are a true prodigy and I am very proud of you.. one blues wonder kid to another. You are so far ahead of me at your age its not funny." Joe Bonamassa
